Sexü Peebles rockin’ her Fake Geek Girl shirt. Because I obviously read too many manga recently which *blush* I hereby admit totally are my dark secret guilty pleasure thingy even though most of them make my inner feminist cringe. A lot.
Btw, dear engineer people, please develop a scanner capable of science-magically scanning glitter in all its glory already, because this is UNACCEPTABLEEEE!!

Second batch of today’s Dr. Sketchy drawings (incl. Golden Treasure in all her glory sans voodoo doll outfit).

So so so great models. I wish there were more longer poses (all of those were between one and ten minutes. Or, I think one was 15?). I always feel kinda bad for not drawing all the fantastic tattoos the models have.

NEED. MORE. TIME. to capture all the wonderful details of those amazing human bodies. *siiiiigh*

I made it to the Dr. Sketchy’s Great Voodoo Session today, woohooo! Featuring not only one of my absolute favorite models from the Berlin Dr. Sketchy’s cast, Miss Mopsy Meyers, but also the fabulous Golden Treasure who graced us with the sexiest after-break performance ever (I may or may not have drooled sufficiently on my sketchbook to not need any more liquid for my watercolors).

Here’s the first of two batches of my scans. The last of these was a non-dominant-hand challenge for the mid-show contest. I was nominated but unfortunately did not win (well, look at poor Mopsy’s face and you know why). But the sponsoring/advertisement definitely worked on me because now I REALLY want some of that Meermaid Infused Rum. I imagine a huge underground tank full of rum and disco balls and mermaids swimming in it and having the biggest reckless mermaid party and every once in a while (at full moon?) somebody comes and taps some of that magical mermaid-infused rum to bottle it. Only after some intricate and appreciative ritual (and mermaid-consensual), of course. Oh my Glob. Somebody get me some of this stuff!! Please?

… with coconut milk and a pinch of salt (which I always add as sneakily as possible in public environments so that nobody notices what a pervert I am). What. Don’t judge before you’ve tried it.
Have you read Bryan Lee O’Malley’s "Seconds"? If not I suggest you remedy that asap. It’s such a great book. Manga-style inspired getting-your-life-together/existential angst graphic novel meets fairy tale, including romantic complications. Unmistakably O’Malley and at the same time very different from Scott Pilgrim. I just love O’Malley’s relatably weird characters and Lis is my favorite.
